The purpose of the Alameda Depot Neighborhood Overlay (ADO) is to implement the policies that were established in the Alameda Depot Neighborhood Plan. As it is impacted by changes in downtown and surrounding neighborhoods, residents and property owners want to protect the characteristics that make the Alameda Depot neighborhood special. Larger scale, higher intensity business and professional service activities (doctors office, hair salon) are included in this zoning district. No goods or merchandise are prepared or sold on the premises, with the exception of those activities that serve the primary use. Access to streets that are a collector or higher designation is recommended.
