Open Space And Specific Plan
The specific purposes of the open space and specific plan district are to identify and protect public lands, including those subject to public open space easements, identify and protect private lands that are subject to private open space easements, implement the goals and policies of the general plan natural resources element and protect citizens from flood, erosion, landslide hazards by classifying land prone to one hundred year floods, lands with slopes in excess of twenty percent as open space, to identify specific plans that have been adopted by the city and require that all development within each specific plan overlay be consistent with the goals, policies, guidelines, and standards of that specific plan
