Residential Planned Unit Development
The purpose of this District is to provide for the development of planned residential communities that incorporate a variety of housing options and innovative development practices. The intent of the District is to allow greater flexibility than is generally possible under conventional zoning district regulations by encouraging low impact development, energy efficient building practices, and imaginative and high quality design to create a well planned living environment. Development in the RPUD District should provide dedicated open space to maintain natural and cultural resources, use higher densities and innovative development practices, provide community amenities, and create safety for residents
