Planned Development And High Intensity Mixed Use Intensive Commercial
The purpose of aplanneddevelopment(PD) district is to encourage the unified design of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional uses, including combinations of uses that are not otherwise attainable under conventional base zoning districts. And it is the purpose and intent of the High Intensity Mixed-Use (MU-2) District to provide areas in which a variety of higher density housing types exist among commercial, institutional, and selected light industrial uses. The MU-2 District is designed to accommodate and encourage compact, walkable development forms that are more land-efficient, cost-effective, and revenue positive for the City than low density, single-use developments. The purpose of the intensive commercial (G) district is to provide for a wide range of intensive commercial, institutional and office uses intended to serve the entire community.
