The PFdistrictis intended to provide adequate lands for public and quasi-public community uses and services, including but not limited to fire stations, schools, libraries, community centers, hospitals, civic buildings, open space, parks, utilities and other public related facilities. The Bell Avenue Historic is also intended to ensure compatibility of new construction and structural alterations with the existing scale and characteristics of surrounding properties, foster civic pride in the beauty and accomplishments of the past, and identify and promote the use of historic resources for the education, pleasure, and welfare of citizens of the City of Denton.
