R-DD
Residential Design District
The purpose of the R-DD zone is to assure that both single family homes and middle housing are protected from noise, light, glare and reduction in privacy to the maximum extent possible during the area transition to higher density residential use, to facilitate good architectural design and site planning which maintains residential choices of unit size, cost and other amenities and supports the economic feasibility of new construction and development, and to assure protection and compatibility of all land uses, including commercial, residential, park, open space and historic sites.
