The purpose of the Single Family Low Density (R-1)districtis to provide for thedevelopmentof single family detached dwellings, along with directly related complementary uses, thedistrictis intended to be strictly residential in character with a minimum of disturbances due to traffic or overcrowding and R-1districtis designed to implement the single family low land use category of the North Las Vegas ComprehensivePlanand allow for the economical use of land while creating an attractive, functional, and safe residential environment and the purpose of thePlannedCommunity(PCD)districtis to permit and encourage thedevelopmentof comprehensivelyplannedcommunitiesand goal of the PCD district is to ensure orderly planning of large areas of land and to create efficient, desirable and stable developments offering a combination of planned land uses and this district is designed to provide for flexibility in the zoning of large scale planned communities
