Residential Single Family
The purpose of the Residential single-family at four (4) dwelling units per gross acre (RS-4) zoning district is to provide areas where the traditional single-family detached residence can be established, maintained and protected from the unwarranted intrusion of other inappropriate uses and structures. It is also intended to serve as an underlying zoning district for a Mixed Use Overlay zoning district. The RS-4 zoning district corresponds to the Low (5) Residential, Local Activity Center, Transit Oriented Corridor and Transit Oriented Development future land use designations in the Future Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan.
