Open Space Protected Ridgeline Overlay
The open Space Zone is established To ensure that the use of property as natural open space is related to the purposes and policies of the Land Use Element, Conservation Element and Open Space Element of the General Plan and To recognize and identify the intrinsic ecological value, scenic or undisturbed nature of particular private parcels of land and ridgeline preservation overlay zone and regulations of this article are also enacted to implement those policies of the Citys General Plan for the preservation of significant natural land forms, the maintenance and preservation of open space and the protection of the scenic backdrop to the Citys major roadways.
