American River Parkway Floodplain Zone Special Planning River District
The purpose of the ARP-F zone is to prevent the loss of life and property by prohibiting the erection of improvements or structures in a designated floodway, to protect the natural features of the American River floodplain, to prevent erosion and siltation, and to preserve valuable open space. The River District special planning district establishes procedures to implement the policies and development standards of the River District Specific Plan.
