Office And Professional Annexation Scenic Corridor

The OP zoning district is established to accommodate the need for the development of office space and mixed use residential uses. The inclusion of mixed use residential land uses in commercial areas is encouraged to increase the area's population and pedestrian activity while reducing air pollution, energy consumption and transportation costs. The purpose of the AN district is to identify lands which are affected by ordinances requiring payment of development fees or other mitigation measures, so that such fees or conditions may be required at the time ofsiteplan, conditional use permit, or land division approval. The SC scenic corridor combining district classification is intended to be applied to land areas which are adjacent to roads and highways which are indicated on the General Plan with the symbol for scenic corridors, and as may be designated by the city council from time to time.
