Contingency Neighborhood Commercial
The purpose of the C Contingency District is to provide for an orderly arrangement of uses, and to provide residential property that is adjacent to potential commercial or industrial development, and single family residential property that is adjacent to potential multi family development, with enough land use protection so as not to adversely affect the health, safety, morals or convenience of the general public and the purpose of the C1 Neighborhood Commercial district is designed to allow for areas of neighborhood retail and services that meet the day to day needs of residents and workers of surrounding neighborhoods (typically within a 1 mile radius), uses in this district include smaller grocery stores, banks, restaurants and services such as small professional and health offices, barber or beauty shops, dry cleaners, small to medium scale offices, schools, churches, and neighborhood serving public uses
