The FB-SC Special Purpose Corridor Core Subdistrict contains the most intensive level of development in the vicinity of special purpose corridors. Buildings are generally six to seven stories in height and are supported by multiple street types so that pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers have access to the properties within the area. Form based districts are intended to provide zoning regulations that focus on the form of development, the manner in which buildings are oriented toward public spaces, the scale of development, and the interaction of uses within the city. Form based districts provide places for people to live, work, and play within a close proximity. Regulations within form based districts place emphasis on the built environment over land use.
