The purpose of this district is to encourage higher quality development in the City by allowing flexibility in the planning and development of projects, Planned Development District may be used to permit new or innovative concepts in land utilization or diversification that could not be achieved under conventional zoning approaches. Any combination of residential, commercial, light industrial, public or recreational uses as approved by the City Council may be permitted, This district is intended to provide for development of attached residential units, such as multi-family developments, at a maximum residential density of approximately 29 dwelling units per acre. Corresponding future land use designations generally include Medium-Density Residential and High-Density Residential.
