Planned Development Mixed Use Regional
The MR district is intended to provide a walkable urban center to augment the regional draw and image of Denton. Development may include national retailers, employment, restaurants, entertainment venues, and housing at the highest levels of scale and density within the City. This district ensures that development will complement and embrace existing viable uses and raise the standard of design to increase regional draw, accommodate greater connectivity and mobility options and create a sense of place. PD district is intended to provide an alternative zoning district and development process to accommodate substantial development for residential, commercial, professional, recreational, industrial, or other activities, including combinations of uses appropriately requiring flexibility under controlled conditions, not otherwise attainable under conventional base zoning districts.
