Planned Village District
The PVD, Planned Village District is designed to promote diversity and integration of uses and structures in a planned traditional neighborhood development through flexible design standards. This can be accomplished by promoting a variety of land uses, housing types, and density. This district is also created to avoid negative impacts of suburban sprawl by minimizing infrastructure costs, traffic congestion, and to encourage infill development.
