The purpose of the MX-1 mixed use neighborhood district is to accommodate the development of a combination of wide range residential and compatible nonresidential uses, which are designed and developed within the framework of a coordinated master plan or utilized to accommodate infill opportunities as a transition zone or neighborhood edge or node the district provides flexibility from conventional use and dimension requirements of other zoning districts in order to encourage affordable, high quality design and an innovative arrangement of buildings and open space
