Agricultural District
This district is composed of those areas in the Township whose pre-dominate land use is agriculture. The regulations for this district are designed to protect and stabilize the essential characteristics of these areas, minimize conflicting land uses detrimental to farm enterprises and limit development which requires highways and other public facilities in excess of those required by agricultural uses. Land in this classification should not be used to accommodate the Countys growth, are generally rated as Class I, II, and III soils by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service, and often correspond to the Susquehanna River floodplain
