The Park, Recreation, and Open Space Zone (PRO) is intended to Implement the comprehensive plan and other applicable plans by providing areas that will conserve and preserve a variety of parks, recreation areas, and open spaces to maintain livability of the metropolitan area. Provide a balance of active and passive recreation opportunities to meet neighborhood, community, and metropolitan needs. Efficiently implement plans and improvements to parks and open areas with appropriate reviews where compatibility issues may arise. Facilitate preservation of scenic and natural values and ecosystem management.
