The Planned Unit Development (PUD) District is intended To implement the Reno Master Plan, To allow various combinations of land uses, To ensure compatibility between residential and mixed-use or nonresidential areas and to minimize potential impacts to residential areas from adjacent more intensive uses, To facilitate development by permitting greater flexibility than allowed by the strict application of this Title in exchange for more creative and imaginative designs with a higher level of amenities and public benefits than would otherwise occur under the standard zoning districts
