PUD

Planned unit development (PUD) is a land use designation designed to provide an overall planning and design approach for a single use development or a development incorporating a mix of uses. PUD allows for deviation from a strict application of dimensional and use limitations of the zoning district or districts in order to provide flexibility for landowners to creatively plan for the overall development of their land to achieve a more desirable environment than would be possible through strict application of the standard requirements of the zoning district.
