Urban General 10 Stories Maximum Form Based Code
The purpose of this district is to develop a setting for a true mixture of uses that recognize the West Downtown District as an urban town center of retail, office, residential, entertainment and dining for the City of Dearborn. And the intent of the Urban General frontage type is to create a pedestrian-friendly, compact, mixed-use district. This frontage type is intended for the most density in Dearborn, in the East and West Downtowns and along primary corridors. The additional designation in Urban General District requires ground floor storefront uses and architectural requirements in order to preserve the walkable, active downtown interface with the public realm. Storefront buildings shall also meet the design specifications for the Urban General Frontage
