Secondary Commercial District Planned Unit Development
It is the intent of this B5 district to accommodate those commercial activities which may be incompatible with the predominantly retail uses permitted in the B4 district but are required to service the central retail core as well as provide a transition to outlying residential areas. The B5 district accommodates a mix of office, service and multi family residential uses in a pedestrian oriented environment with sufficient parking provided to accommodate permitted uses. The objective of the planned unit development is to encourage a higher level of design and amenity than is possible to achieve under otherwise applicable zoning regulations.
