Mixed Use
It is the purpose of the MU Mixed Use land development district to provide lands within the village for the development of mixed use developments. Similar to single-use planned developments, the intent of this section is to provide for planned developments with a mix of uses and to allow greater flexibility in design and development standards relative to specific dimensional regulations, to encourage ingenuity and creativity in site design while preserving open space to serve recreational, scenic and other public service purposes, and to ensure compatibility of new development with the surrounding area and within the proposed development.
