The purpose of the R-2 district is to provide for the development of multifamily and mobile home housing as defined and limited by the Future Land Use Element of the comprehensive plan. Properties designated R-2 shall not exceed 15 percent of the total acreage of any single planning area nor shall they exceed ten percent of the total land area in the city.
