Water Related Industrial
The M-3 Zone is intended to provide for heavy, water-related industrial activity, including those which may create some objectionable conditions, subject to the regulations needed to control congestion and to protect the surrounding area or adjoining premises. This zone provides for docking facilities, bulk cargo handling, manufacturing and assembly, processing, warehousing, trucking terminals, rail-road facilities, and wholesale and storage uses for industrial use and similar and compatible uses which are dependent on water transportation, and public and quasi-public uses. This zone implements the Water-Related Industrial General Plan Land Use Designation
