The residential density in this zoning district may range from 5.1 to 10.0 units per acre, and the purpose of FC (FreewayCombining)overlayzoning district is intended to regulate residential development along thefreewaycorridor in an effort to minimize the number of people impacted by the negative elements of thefreeway, the FCoverlayzone is established in recognition of the fact that residential development near the Simi ValleyFreewayrequires special consideration in construction and design and these special standards are meant to provide acoustic and visual protection for residents of dwellings to be constructed within thefreewayimpacted area as well as enhance the appearance of thefreewaycorridor through the City
