Public Planned Development
The purpose of the P zoning district is to provide zoning for areas occupied by federal, state, county and city government uses, along with recreation areas and parks, cemeteries. This district is also intended to accommodate quasi-public and public utility uses, along with uses incidental to public services. The purpose of the PD planned development combining district is to provide for greater flexibility in the design of integrated development in context with the general character of the city which would not be otherwise possible through strict interpretation or application of district regulations.
