The OP zoning district is established to accommodate the need for the development of office space and mixed use residential uses. The inclusion of mixed use residential land uses in commercial areas is encouraged to increase the area's population and pedestrian activity while reducing air pollution, energy consumption and transportation costs. The SPSitePerformanceCombining District, when attached to the base zoning district, is intended to provide for a greater level of mitigation of land use impacts than is otherwise possible under the broad development standards of the base zone.
