Regional Commercial Planned Commercial Development

The regulations set out in this chapter shall apply in the C-2 regional commercial zone unless otherwise provided in this title. The purpose of this zone is to permit development of concentrated large-scale retail operations providing a broad range of goods and services which serve the metropolitan market area, It is recognized that an integrated development provides an opportunity for cohesive design when flexible regulations are applied. The planned commercial development zone is intended to allow for innovative design and diversification in the relationship of various uses, buildings, structures, lot sizes and open spaces while ensuring compliance with the general plan and the intent of the municipal code
