M-1

The M-1, manufacturing district is intended to provide for warehousing, manufacturing or fabrication operations which, on the basis of physical and operational characteristics, would not be detrimental to the immediate surrounding area or to the city as a whole by reason of smoke, odor, noise, dust, flash, traffic, physical appearance or other similar factors; and to establish such regulatory controls as will reasonable insure (ensure) compatibility with the surrounding area in this respect. All uses in this district must meet the State of Wisconsin emission requirements.
