The purpose of the Open Space and Preservation (OSP) district is to provide lands to accommodate the preservation and protection of active park and recreation activities, passive open space lands, significant natural features, and environmentally sensitive lands. District standards limit development in these areas in order to preserve the citys natural, scenic, and recreational assets; ensure their proper functioning; and promote visitor enjoyment.
