Planned Development And Mixed Use
The purpose of aplanneddevelopment(PD) district is to encourage the unified design of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional uses, including combinations of uses that are not otherwise attainable under conventional base zoning districts. And it is the purpose and intent of the Low Intensity Mixed Use (MU) District to provide areas in which a variety of housing types exist among neighborhood-serving commercial and institutional uses. The MU District is designed to accommodate and encourage compact, walkable development forms that are more land-efficient, cost effective, and revenue positive for the City than low density, single-use developments.
