General Residential District
It is the intent of this Section that the GR Zoning District be developed and reserved for medium density residential purposes. The regulations which apply within this district are designed to discourage any uses which would generate nonresidential traffic on minor streets, to encourage the formation and continuance of a stable, healthy residential environment, and to discourage unwarranted encroachment of commercial, industrial or other uses capable of adversely affecting the residential character of the district.
