The purpose of the E-2 Mixed Use Employment zone is to implement the Lightto Medium Industrial designation of the comprehensive plan by providing areas for a mixture of compatible employment opportunitiesincluding industrial, office, and commercial, that benefit from multi-modal transportation access. The zone is generally sited along key transit corridors with existing commercial and industrial businesses. It is intended to provide a wide range of permitted uses, while creating a transit-supportive, pedestrian friendly corridor.
