This area has potential for redevelopment as a pedestrian-oriented commercial destination, and with the expected redevelopment of the Psychiatric Center property for high-density residential and commercial use, the redevelopment of the Fairview Center would be supported by, and provide a linkage to, the existing institutional, business and residential areas to the west, south and east
