The Canton Crossing C-5 Medical Overlay District is established to facilitate and encourage activities related to and supportive of health care and higher education. Specifically, the district is intended to encourage and maximize the opportunity for the development health care related enterprises that include, but are not limited to, pharmaceuticals, biologics, biotechnology, diagnostic imaging, medical supply, medical equipment, medicine and related manufacturers and processors, medical service providers, medical product distributors and lab testing facilities.
