Mixed Residential Form Based Code
The purpose of this district is to develop a setting for a true mixture of uses that recognize the West Downtown District as an urban town center of retail, office, residential, entertainment and dining for the City of Dearborn. And the Mixed residential frontage type is intended to accommodate a mixture of housing types. Historically, these areas were single-family neighborhoods that have transitioned over time to include a mixture of housing types. Historic single-family houses should be retained where possible for their character and infill housing should respect the established scale and massing.
