The Townhouse Residential Zoning District is intended to provide for a moderate density neighborhood environment of single-family detached and attached, two-family, and townhouse dwellings. This district may function as a transitional zone between predominantly single-family neighborhoods and adjacent higher density multi-family neighborhoods or non-residential areas and the planned unit development technique is intended to encourage and allow more creative and flexible development of land than is possible under base district zoning regulations
