The D-S District is intended for suburban areas of extreme topography, areas conducive to estate development, or areas where it is desirable to permit only low density development (such as adjacent to floodplains, aquifers, urban conservation areas, within the extended alignment of airport runways, etc.). Generous front yards with trees along roadways that follow the natural terrain of the land are envisioned for the D-S District.
