This zone provides a commercial zone for retail and service uses which supply the daily household needs of the Citys residents. This Zone is usually located on major streets contiguous to residential uses. This zone is characterized by smaller scale commercial uses which are easily accessible by pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles from the surrounding residential neighborhoods, although larger scale developments such as big-box stores may still serve as anchors. Connectivity is provided with walkways that provide access to and through the development site. Parking for vehicles is understated by the use of landscaping, location, and provision of pedestrian walkways to the businesses
