The purpose of M-1 zone is to encourage the development of manufacturing and wholesale business establishments which shall be free of hazardous or objectionable elements such as noise, odor, dust, smoke, or glare, are operated entirely within enclosed structures and generate little industrial traffic, research activities are encouraged and limited office and commercial uses may be permitted as ancillary uses and this district is further designed to act as a transitional use between heavy manufacturing uses and other less intense businesses
