Residential Agricultural Zone
The RA-4 Rural Estates Zone is established to encourage the orderly and timely conversion of certain land areas into residential areas as the need arises. It is anticipated that this zone will be applied to those areas of the county which are still rural in character, but which have a definite residential potential. To accomplish this purpose, large lot areas and open space will be required to correspond to the rural character while at the same time permitted uses and activities will be controlled to insure a high standard for single family residential use.
