The intent of this district is to encourage the redevelopment of the area to a mix of low-rise residential uses with a variety of architectural styles to serve as a transition between more intense mixed-use development along the BeltLine, less intensive residential Subarea 6 to the north, and Freedom Park to the east, per the Poncey-Highland Neighborhood Master Plan and Atlanta BeltLine Subarea 5 Master Plan.
