AC1

The purpose of the AC1 zone is to preserve the rural and open character of various lands within the County and to provide for permanent, residential housing in conjunction with agricultural and open space uses and these lands are agricultural lands, sites of vital, natural water resource functions, areas with highly productive, natural plant and animal communities and areas with valuable topographic and subsurface features, all of which are necessary to sustain and enhance the quality of life in the County
