Light Industrial
It is the purpose of the LI light industrial land development district to provide lands within the village for the retention and expansion of economic activities associated with manufacturing, processing, fabricating, compounding, treatment, packaging or assembly of materials or goods, warehousing or bulk storage of goods, and their related accessory uses. Such areas shall be located convenient to major roads and vehicular traffic while providing safeguards for adjoining and/or nearby nonindustrial properties and the surrounding community. Other uses shall be permitted which are more appropriate to the LI land development district due to environmental impacts related to noise, vibration, light, traffic, and general aesthetics.
