Planned Unit Development Mission Rise

The purpose of the Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning district is to allow for mixed use development within the Town Center and for development of land equal to or exceeding 100 acres in other areas of Town where Town Council determines that a mixture of uses is desired and appropriate. The PUD zoning district shall be used for development or redevelopment of Town Center properties when development of more than one acre is being proposed. The PUD zoning district shall also be used for all properties with Village Mixed Use land use. The purpose of the PUD zoning for Village Mixed Use is to require a mix of uses to promote sustainable development, including the provisions of reducing dependence on the automobile, protecting more open land, and providing quality of life by allowing people to live, work, socialize and engage in recreational activities in a village setting.
