The intent of this district is to provide areas for sleeping and living quarters for transient visitors and tourists within the Traditional Neighborhood (8 DUA and 12 DUA) and Commercial land use categories. It is considered a business zone, allowing for-profit uses such as restaurants, overnight accommodations, rental and incidental supply shops, and other tourist-oriented small businesses. Convenience stores, fast food drive-in restaurants, and dock fueling facilities are strictly prohibited. Certain indoor and outdoor guest activities may be permitted as special exceptions.
