Multifamily Residential 20 And Historic
The purpose of the Residential Multifamily-20 (RMF-20) district is to accommodate primarily multifamily dwellings and multifamily complexes at moderate to high densities. It also accommodates single-family dwellings, duplexes, and duplex and townhouse subdivisions, as well as limited group living, institutional, and open space uses, generally as special uses or public or semi-public uses, The City of Daytona Beach has various historic neighborhoods, sites, structures, and objects of historic significance. Rehabilitation and preservation of these historic neighborhoods, sites, structures and objects is beneficial to the community as a whole in that they provide the community with a singular identity and sense of place, establish social continuity by linking the present community with its origins, and contribute variety to the physical environment
