The purpose of the C-2 zone is to locate and establish areas within the City of Bowling Green which are deemed to be uniquely appropriate, by reason of location and vehicular accessibility, for the development and operation of general commercial service uses, to designate such uses as are appropriate for development within a service commercial area and to set forth such development standards and provisions as are appropriate to ensure the proper development and functioning of uses
